A MAN in his 60s has been hit over the head during a robbery in south Belfast.
He was attacked by two men on the Ormeau Road around 10 am on Saturday.
They also sprayed him with an unknown substance.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment, but police said that at this stage the substance is not believed to be harmful.
The robbers escaped with cash in the direction of St John’s Avenue. Police have appealed for information.
One of the robbers was wearing a red and white top and is believed to be in his 20s.
