Detectives charge man over cannabis factory

POLICE at York Road in north Belfast on Wednesday are investigating a number of vehicles being broken into.

The cars were parked in the carparks and streets between Royal Avenue and Peters Hill area.

Constable Murphy of York Road PSNI station has urged the public to be vigilant.

“Please report any suspicious activity to Police immediately and do not leave any valuables in your vehicle,” he said.

“Let’s not make this a merry Christmas for thieves and vandals.”

Motorists are advised to lock all valuables in the boot out of sight of thieves
