Army bomb experts examining suspect device in Larne

POLICE have called in Army bomb disposal experts to deal with a security alert close to Larne PSNI station.

A disposal robot was deployed following the discovery of a suspicious object in Hope Street.

As a result, police have closed Hope Street and Circular Road to traffic and diversions are in place.
