Police probe cyclist death in Lisburn

A CO KERRY cyclist left critically injured following a road crash at the weekend has died of his injuries.

Donal Lucey, 48-year-old, from Clonkeen, Co Kerry died in hospital on Wednesday after the accident in Lisburn.

Following the accident with a car on the Old Ballynahinch Road on Sunday, the Irish cyclist was rushed to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast and was treated in the intensive care unit.
