DETECTIVES are hunting a criminal gang behind a knife-point cash-in-transit robbery in west Belfast.
Police are currently at the scene in the Ladybrook Park area of the city on Monday.
It is believed a man in a grey hooded top and high visibility jacket threatened the driver with a knife before making off with a cash box in a red Volvo.
The vehicle and a Ford Ceemax were recovered in the area of the Kennedy centre.
A statement from the PSNI said: “The investigation is ongoing.
“Anyone who witnessed either the robbery or the abandoning of the vehicles is asked to contact police at Grosvenor Road on 0845 600 8000.”
