THE possible venue for next year’s G8 summit is at the centre of a blaze.

Firefighters rushed to the scene of the fire this morning at a luxury hotel resort in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh.

Five fire appliances are at the scene of the fire at the Lough Erne Resort.

There has been that the resort was being considered as a venue for the G8 summit of leading industrial nations.

It is said to be an ideal setting as it is remote and surrouned by water.
