ANTI-TERRORIST detectives have a struck a blow against racketeering by dissident republicans.
Cigarettes and financial documentation were seized following intelligence-led searches linked to dissident republican activity in the Greater Belfast area.
During the searches a number of items were taken away but no arrests were made. Inquiries are continuing.
The PSNI said: “A quantity of cigarettes and tobacco was seized during the searches as well as financial documentation. There have been no arrests.”
