Police hunt Antrim crossbow thugs

A MAN has cheated death after a crossbow bolt was fired at him in his flat in Antrim.

Two men wearing balaclavas and dark clothes forced their way into the flat at Elmdale at around 9pm on Monday.

They fired the crossbow at the man, but missed. He then able forced them out of the flat.

The two attackers escaped on foot.

Police have appealed for anyone who saw the men to contact them.
