VOTING closed yesterday afternoon for the Belfast Business Awards 2012.
The awards give local businesses an opportunity to be recognised for the fine work of business enterprises, retail outlets and business people across the city.
They celebrate all forms of excellence including: delivery of the highest levels of customer service, developing new products or services, diversifying into new markets and achievement in growth.
Award winners and shortlisted companies enjoy many benefits including:

- kudos associated with being a Belfast Business Awards winner or shortlisted company
- valuable endorsement that can be used in future marketing materials

Entries for this year’s awards have closed.
And those shortlisted for each of the eleven award catergories for the gala night next month have already been announced.

There is a public vote to decide the winner of shortlisted businesses in three award categories: Best Hospitality Business, Young Business Person of the Year and Business Person of the Year. The voting process closes this Friday at 4pm October 2012.
Votes were cast by visiting the Belfast City Council’s website (belfasatcity.gov.uk) and follow the links to the 2012 Business Awards.
One of the hottet categories will be the Best Hospitality Venue where the John Hewitt Bar is up against Greens Pizza, The Mac, The Bar and Grill at James Street South, the Potted Hen and Titanic Belfast Ltd.
Winners will be announced at the Belfast Business Gala Dinner and Ceremony on Thursday 8 November 2012 at Belfast City Hall.
